On Saint Francis, Pope Francis, the Two Popes and the False Prophet

By David Moorcroft
Saint Francis
Since the election of Pope Francis, certain factions on the fringes of the Catholic Church, in particular extreme traditionalists and quasi-sectarian groups gathered around spurious and patently false private revelations have been exploiting the Internet for the propagation of bogus prophecies attributed to Saints and Blesseds of the Church. The claim is made that these “prophecies” have foretold the election of Pope Francis and its dire consequences for the Church.

(1) A bogus prophecy falsely attributed to St Francis of Assisi which foretells the coming of an uncanonically elected “destroyer pope” has been widely circulated.

Internet False Prophet

Interesting article on the Catholic Internet and... Maria Divine Mercy from Father Angelo M. Geiger, a Franciscan Friar of the Immaculate, and a priest for more than twenty years:

Father Angelo M. Geiger
There are many reasons to know this woman (Maria Divine Mercy) is a fraud, some of them doctrinal, some of them having to do with the money trail, and some of them just common sense: Is MDM the seventh Angel of the Apocalypse? No she is not.
That there is not a single bishop that supports her, but many who condemn the messages one might think would be a clue. But of course, conspiracy theory always has a ready answer. Everything is connected: false prophet pope, evil bishops—you know, private revelation comes first.

Powerful Testimony of Former Follower of Maria Divine Mercy

My spiritual adventure started with a mistake, a really big mistake. I came across Maria Divine Mercy’s messages while searching on Google. At the time I was interested in anything but the faith. Even so, I began reading them.

Initially, I found the messages interesting because they spoke about the future, the love of God, the Apocalypse - and I was curious how it was all going to work out. Curiosity got the better of me though it would be a long time before I would admit it.

Maria Divine Mercy: A Dangerous Demonic Deception

By Father John Abberton

Fr. John Abberton
"I am a priest exorcist of 15 years experience. I have permission to share these things.

I now have permission to say these things. Lately I have been trying to help a lady who used to read these false messages. This lady has been possessed by many demons. I cannot say how many. I have had many sessions with her, in the presence of another priest and a lay woman who are witnesses to what I have to say.

This person came to me shortly after she had stopped reading those false messages. The reason she stopped was that she felt "spiritually dead" in spite of saying the prayers recommended by the messages, including the Rosary, and she realised that she was not growing in faith etc. She felt unhappy about this and was strangely ill at ease. As soon as she stopped she was attacked by a demon. She felt its presence and then she realised that she needed help.

Maria Divine Mercy Closes Shop; Walks Away From 'Vision' Business

By Mark Saseen
Official Maria Divine Mercy's Facebook page
Jesus to Mankind featuring 'laughing Jesus'
closed down on March 27

Step by step the vision empire known as "Maria Divine Mercy" is crumbling. On March 27, one week after closing her website TheWarningSecondComing, the anonymous seer closed her companion Facebook page that served the visionary's world community.

The closures come less than two months following articles by the Irish Mail on Sunday that offered conclusive evidence identifying Ireland's Mary Carberry as the visionary.

Carberry opened her website of visions in March 2011 working from her home in upscale Malahide, north of Dublin. In four years she accumulated millions of followers and more than 400,000 Facebook "likes." As an anonymous and completely internet-based operation, the 59-year-old former public relations consultant found special favor in the United States, continental Europe, and third world countries such as Nigeria and the Philippines.

Mark Saseen, Author of 'The Outing of Mary Carberry' Discusses Maria Divine Mercy's Collapsing Enterprise

Have you read the latest Maria Divine Mercy's message? Any comments?

Mark Saseen: On 23 February 2015 Mary Carberry created a 'message from 'Jesus' -- "I will speak with you only periodically and through the Remnant from now on." What does it mean?  Time will tell, but it does indicate that Carberry is losing steam. One website reading this news announced "Ding, dong. The witch is dead."

Maria Divine Mercy's Message with Commentary. How Silly Can it Get?

By David Moorcroft

Message titled: Those who exalt themselves before Me but speak evil of others will be cut off from Me.Sunday, January 4th, 2015 @ 16:00

My dearly beloved daughter, if a man who does not believe in Me or My Word, and who is given the gift of discernment [which is not needed for faith or salvation], comes to Me and asks Me for My Help and My Mercy, I will redeem him and give him salvation [you must have missed this before, Mrs Divine Mercy, but we are redeemed already]. If a man who knows Me but betrays Me, then comes to Me and tries to defend his actions, I will cast him away for he has committed the worst sin [not necessarily].

My greatest enemies are those who were blessed with the Truth but whose pride makes them believe that they are privileged to act in My Name [Those who are blessed with the truth KNOW that it is a privilege, not a right, to do anything in God's name. Acknowledging a privilege is no part of the definition of pride.]. I was betrayed by one of My Own when I walked the earth not by those who did not know Me [A truism, therefore an unnecessary saying.

William Kamm - The Little Pebble
We have already written about possible ties between Maria Divine Mercy and the Little Pebble, a cult leader and convicted sex offender before. But as a further confirmation, Mark Saseen, the author of 'The Outing of Mary Carberry', managed to contact William Kamm and recieve a response (full letter below) in which Kamm admits he has known about Maria Divine Mercy from the start.

Saseen writes:

"In 2014 Kamm, assigned to kitchen duty during his 10-year prison conviction, posted an online profile at Justice Action, an Australian organization that assists contact with prisoners through email.

Maria Divine Mercy: Holy Mary's PR Problem

Source: Phoenix 2015

A DUBLIN-BASED PR specialist named Mary Carberry was the centre of a colourful story in the Irish Mail On Sunday last month, which alleged that the businesswoman was involved in a bizarre religious outfit called Maria Divine Mercy (MDM).

She claims to receive prophecies from God and flogs various religious paraphernalia online, such as books and medals. But the real story about Carberry – who also goes by her maiden name, Mary McGovern – relates to her business history.

She has been involved in all sorts of companies in recent years, a number of which have been hauled up before the courts over bad debts.

The Wanderer: Maria Divine Mercy - New Ebook, Newspaper Coverage Focus Fresh Attention On Internet Seer

Author: Dexter Duggan

An anonymous international Internet seer without ecclesiastical authorization apparently didn’t like it when an Irish Sunday newspaper publicized what seemed to be her name as February dawned.

Although “Maria Divine Mercy” (MDM) claims a direct line to God warning of the “end times,” she hadn’t revealed her own identity since she began presenting her apparently widely followed apocalyptic messages online in 2010.

RTÉ Talk Show Host Joe Duffy Discusses Maria Divine Mercy

By Mark Saseen

For three days, Monday - Wednesday, 2-4 February, Dublin, Ireland, afternoon talk show
Joe Duffy
host Joe Duffy asked the same question to callers addressing the 'secret' Irish 'visionary' Maria Divine Mercy -- "Do you know who she is?" [http://www.rte.ie/radio1/liveline/]

And for three days no one told him. Does Duffy know? Of course! The identity of the Internet-only 'seer' with millions of followers worldwide was scientifically identified as Malahide resident Mary McGovern Carberry in the Irish Mail on Sunday published the day before Duffy first asked his question.

The "science" in the identification was a comparison of "Maria Divine Mercy's" voice from her only interview in October 2011 on a US Catholic radio program.

New Book Revealing Truth about Maria Divine Mercy and her 'Warning Second Coming' Enterprise

Download eBook
From the Book's 'Foreword'

Download the free eBook here

In early March 2011 a website appeared – The Warning Second Coming - claiming to provide messages directly from Jesus and his Mother Mary sent to a woman whose identity was not revealed. The ‘visionary’ used the name Maria Divine Mercy. The website claimed she was a successful European business woman with children.

The website was ‘top notch’ professional -- not likely generated by someone busied with providing for a family while transcribing almost daily messages that spoke of end-time events. The messages allegedly began four months prior to the website's appearance in November 2010. Initially, the site attracted a modest following but was generally unknown in the Catholic community.
